Map animations are as much branding as geography. Hatcut includes six built-in color presets tuned for video contrast — readable on phone screens and TV alike.
Preset guide
- Travel — warm greens, red highlights, white routes. Adventure vlogs, backpacking channels.
- Vox dark — navy base, yellow highlights. Explainer and essay YouTube.
- Vox light — pale blues, soft greens. Friendly educational content.
- Midnight — deep blue ocean, cyan accents. Premium / cinematic intros.
- Sand — desert tones. Middle East, Africa, southwest US content.
- Ocean — teal water, cool land. Diving, sailing, coastal trips.
Accessibility on small screens
Route lines must stay visible against ocean fills. Avoid custom colors with less than 4.5:1 contrast against the background — presets already pass this on mobile.
